Use
The nexonar 3DListener analyzes the impulses emitted by the
nexonar beacons on the run-time principle and generates 3D
absolute coordinates which it forwards via USB to the PC based
measuring application software, nexonar Motion Visualizer. Up
to four beacons can be calculated by the
integrated 3DListener electronics.
From the front of the 3DListeners the measu-
ring area is ~ 160° at a distance of 200-1500
mm at a frequency of 40 kHz. More 3DLi-
steners can be connected through clustering
to increase the meaurement area.
Quick setup
1. Place the floor stand on a solid base at the desired height.
The tripod legs can be individually adjusted for height and
fixed with the quick-lock fasteners.
2. Now, to increase stability, hang the ballast bag, filled with
water, from the bottom of the screw in the center column
of the tripod.
3. Connect the stand with the cross beam (rectangular bar).
4. Place both alignment arms on the stand and fix them them
with the quick-lock fasteners.
5. Now plug the nexonar 3DListener on the end of the arm,
fix this with the quick-lock fastener and carefully check the
connection.
6. Connect each nexonar 3DListener to your PC, using the USB
cable.
7. You can now start your PC (important - not before all
devices are connected).
8. On your PC, install the nexonar Motion Visualizer software.
The built-in device driver is installed automatically.
9. nexonar Motion Visualizer starts automatically and measure-
ment operations can begin.
