COMPUTER-CONTROLLED PRESSURE FILLER WITH A LONG
FILLING TUBE
Innofill PET DVF is a computer-controlled pressure
filler with a long filling tube which applies the
volumetric filling principle. In a large container, this
filler is used for bottling beer into PET bottles.
Machine Characteristics
The visual configuration and design of the Innofill
PET DVF is based on the KHS standard solution for
filling PET bottles. The filler and capper block is
controlled using the latest servo technology. Plastic
grip elements that hold PET bottles via their neck
ring ensure the highest level of safety and system
unit and can be called up at the push of a button.
Innofill PET DVF can be optionally operated with a
single or three filling chambers. The filling process
is realized by an underlayed long tube filling
system. As a result, this ensures quiet,
low-turbulence filling with low oxygen capture.
With this method, the filling tube is fed very deeply
into the bottle. Filling starts at the base of the
bottle. Only the surface of the beverage comes into
contact with oxygen. It is no longer necessary to
pre-rinse the PET bottle with CO2 when using the
reliability. No table is used in this filler concept.
Filling Process
The long tube filler system consists of long lifting
elements and long filling tubes. The filling valves
are attached on the outside on the distribution
ring. Actuation of these elements takes place via
pneumatic cylinders which control the entire filling
process. Using pneumatic cylinders makes the filler
flexible and easily customizable for use with various
products and bottle sizes. All beverage-related and
bottle-specific parameters are stored in the control
long tube filling system. After filling, the pressure is
pre-released in a regulated way before finally, in
the last step, the bottle pressure is released to
match the atmospheric pressure.
The exact filling volume is achieved using the
Innofill PET DVF by means of an electromagnetic
inductive flow meter. The filling volume can be
changed during production by entering new data.
Interaction between the electromagnetic inductive
flow meter and the long tube filling system enables
product savings to be made in the filling process.
