nnnnA Shack Hartmann sensor measures the Intensity profile
nnnnand the wavefront of coherent light In real time and
nnnnwith high accuracy. The sensor divides an Incident wave-
nnnnfront Into a number of beamlets by the sub apertures of
nnnna microlens array.
nnnnEach microlens provides a separate focus on the sub grid
nnnnof detectors on a CCD camera. The analysis of the result-
nnnning pattern Is used to measure the optical phase of an
nnnnIncident wavefront.

nnnnInstruments, adaptive optics, wavefront compensation,
