TBi Syntronic Reverse

The TBi Syntronic is responsible for the perfect

synchronization of wire feeding speed between

nnnn

the main wire feeder of the power source

nnnn

(master) and the compact planetary drive in the

nnnn

handheld torch (slave). Even the most complica-

nnnn

ted wire speed profiles will be precisely replica-

nnnn

ted in the torch (including the pull-back of the

nnnn

wire with the Syntronic Reverse).

Function principle

nnnn

The Syntronic measures the voltage applied to

nnnn

the main feeder motor. From this value, the opti-

nnnn

mized output voltage for the push-pull motor is

nnnn

calculated, and the motor is energized by means

nnnn

of the integrated power amplifier. The measure-

nnnn

ment port of the Syntronic has a high internal

nnnn

resistance in order to eliminate any influence

nnnn

on the behavior of the power source controller.

nnnn

Additionally, the push-pull motor is protected by

nnnn

specially dimensioned safety circuits.
