Hiconics Drive Technology Co., Ltd. is a listed high-tech enterprise specializing in R&D, production and sale of variable frequency drives. Our products include Medium Voltage VFDs, Low Voltage VFDs and Explosion-proof VFDs. Located in the Zhongguancun Science and Technology Park in Beijing, China, Hiconics Drive Technology Co., Ltd. was founded in 2003. In January of 2010 it was officially listed on the Shenzhen Stock Exchange as "Hiconics" (Stock code "300048"), with a registered capitalization of €40.7 million and net assets of €176 million.

Hiconics has five wholly owned subsidiaries as well as an innovative laboratory and technical center. Among more than 1,000 employees, 20% are R&D engineers, and 70% have a college education or above. Hiconcis has been named one of the "Top Ten Chinese Variable Frequency Manufactures" 6 years running by China's Electric Age Magazine and had been twice ranked in the "Top 100 SMEs with the most potential" by Forbes China. Beginning in 2006, Hiconics participated in drafting the official national Chinese guidelines for medium voltage VFD production and design. Hiconcis, as an expert in energy conservation technology, has worked diligently to establish a culture of corporate responsibility not only within the company but also in the industry as a whole.

In addition to being a leading domestic producer, Hiconics has been markedly successful in overseas markets. Our products are currently used in Russia, Mexico, Brazil, India, Pakistan, Vietnam, Malaysia and the Middle East. They have been especially popular in Russia, taking more than 50% of the MV VFD market share. We at Hiconics continue to build on our strong international reputation by making our cost and energy efficient products available to markets worldwide. 

Our Products

Hiconcis manufactures two series of HIVERT Medium Voltage VFDs: a General type and High-performance type. Our General type VFDs allow the user to save energy by adjusting the motor's rotator speed. It is most common use is with fan and pump motors in power generation, mining, petrochemical manufacture, metallurgy and municipal projects. The High-performance type VFD takes advantage of vector control and regenerative technology allowing it to exert constant torque, a quick dynamic response, greater precision, a wider scope of speed regulation and rapid braking. It can also generate the energy back into the grid when the load is braking. Its most common uses are with mining hoists, conveyors, rolling mills, and other marine and engine applications.
