While it has traditionally had an approach involving development and
innovation, Apageo is now completely rethinking its geotechnical
field applications with the launching of GeoBOX®.
Following a period of strict observation, our experts evaluated the
imperatives and constraints encountered in the field in order to offer
equipment which is designed to simplify the carrying out of tests
and the transmission of data, to reduce the encumbrance of the
equipment and the implementation time, and above all to make the
results more reliable.
A NEW GENERATION
EQUIPMENT
GeoBOX® is the central unit for monitoring and data acquisition of all your geotechnical works. GeoBOX® offers several applications for soil investigation that can be downloaded
according to your needs:
• Pressuremeter test (test piloting and acquisition) with
GeoPAC® (Auto-Controlled Pressuremeter)
• Pressuremeter data acquisition with GeoSPAD®2
(to be used with Ménard Pressuremeter)
• Drilling data acquisition with Explofor®3
• Heavy dynamic penetrometer data acquisition
• Permeability test with the Lugeotest®
• Shearing test with the Phicometer
Thus, GeoBOX® is connected by WIFI to the different
geotechnical equipments. User friendly, GeoBOX® allows
to follow in real time your tests on its screen.
TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS
Especially adapted to outdoor conditions, GeoBOX®
is extremely rugged and ultra-portable. Wireless, it
conveys automatically through WIFI with all the surrounding equipments thanks to an onboard electronic card.
As soon as the test is done, data are saved on
GeoBOX® for an unlimited time (max. 500 tests). Data
extracted with GeoBOX® can be printed on GeoBOX®
mobile printer, saved on a USB storage key and then
processed on the geotechnical software GeoVISION®.
In option, a GPRS system can send directly data to
the office.

• A central unit GeoBOX®, UMPC (Ultra Mobile Personal Computer),
delivered with 2 batteries and its VAC adapter
• A thermal printer, hardy and industrial, delivered with battery
and VAC adapter and 2 rolls of paper (110mm width)
• A 1Go USB storage key
• A hardy case IP65 (dimension 432 x 290 x 155 mm),
with inside foam designed to receive the material
