C-ALS® (Cavity Auto-Scanning Laser System)
Description: MDL’s unique robotic borehole deployable cavity
scanner for a 360° view of underground voids. The C-ALS has
begun to change the way that mining operations are carried out,
making previously dangerous tasks possible to conduct in
complete safety. By deploying a C-ALS unit through a borehole,
previously inaccessible or unsafe voids, cavities and ore passes
can be surveyed accurately in total safety.

VS150 Mk3 (Void scanner)
Description: A ruggedised underground 3D laser scanner used
for routine 3D mapping of inaccessible stopes, voids and tunnels.
The VS150 can be deployed on a boom, tripod or customised
mount. These exible deployments allow the collection of precisely
referenced point clouds in complete safety.
Dynascan
Description: The Quarryman Pro is the latest version of MDL’s
aggregate and mining industry laser proling system currently in
use by most major surface mining and quarrying companies
worldwide. Our rodded or cabled Boretrak® products enable
users to quickly and safely survey blast hole geometry for blast
design and audit purposes. The Quarryman and Boretrak can be
sold separately or as a bundle.
Description: The Dynascan 3D mobile mapping system from MDL
is ideal for scanning harsh environments such as quarries and
mines. The rugged design of the system and resistance to water
ingress enables the Dynascan to be used for the complete
mapping of a quarry, even in adverse weather conditions in a
matter of minutes, not hours.
