The Drake GS:G2 4-Axis Profile
Gear Grinder is a perfect blend of
precision, power, and price.
It is equally at home in job shops,
manufacturing cells, and shops doing
high volume or prototype grinding work.
By combining the latest CNC processors
and position feedback devices with
state-of-the-art grinding processes,
the GS:G² will help you produce gears
that exceed DIN 2 specifications in a
cost efficient manner. Temperaturecontrolled linear axes, and grind and
dress spindles on a polymer-mineral
composite base result in incredible
thermal stability and repeatability. Grind
master quality gears with confidence.
Rough and finish grind gears in one
operation. Grind gears from Mod 0.5
to 8 (50 to 3 DP), from 25mm to 350mm
tip diameter to AGMA 14 specification.
This highly productive grinder is based
on a proven design with Drake’s latest
grinding technologies.
Special tooth forms

Worm grinding option available

With on-machine contour wheel
dressing, grind modified forms on solid,
green gears without investing in special
hobs. No need to carry expensive
special hobbing tool inventory or wait
for plated wheels with special forms.
