Wedge Wire Filter CSF-FD
The Wedge wire filter is solidly built and may be used for the
toughhest applications.
The filter consists of the following parts:
• Filter Housing (single piece)
• Cleaning scrapper blade unit with wiper
• Gear Motor with lid
• 3-leged foot stand (has to be fixed to floor)
The liquid flows from the outside of the filter element and the solids
are collected on the outside of the wedge wire screen.The cleaning
process is as follows:
The gear motor turns the cylinder shaped filter cartridge and the
scrapper blade removes the solids from the surface. The solids
remain in the lower parts of the filter housing. When the valve is
open will the solids be pressed outside by the pressure in the
system.
The collected solid may be purged:
• Manually: by opening and closing of ball valve
• Automatic: by time controlled vent
• Automatic: with electronic controller (with differential pressure
monitoring)
Maintenance and cleaning of filter is fast and easyly done. Only four
eye screws have to be removed to take out the lid (with motor) and
scrapper blade unit. The inside of the filter unit can be cleaned
without any problems.
Inside surface of Filter can be polished as an option.
