Measuring principle
Series Miniflow devices are positive displacement meters from type oval
wheel meter and have been designed for the measurement of extremely small
volumes resp. volumetric flow rates. These devices are offering a high
flexibility in the field, due to their modular design. Series Miniflow oval wheel
meters have an exceptionally rugged design and are characterised by their
simplicity and userfriendlyness. Their innovative construction is the
conjunction between decades of know-how together with most recent
technologies. A Series Miniflow oval wheel meter consists of the following
main components:
- stable housing with axis and oval wheels
- cover (a transparent version allows to see the rotation of the two oval
wheels, thus allowing to use the Miniflow as a flow indicator)
- modular sensor system
(different pulse pick-ups, Universal Smart Transmitter, local indicator MFE)

Applications
The oval wheel meter type Miniflow is usable for
simple, reliable and economical measurement of
very small liquid volumes or flow rates in all kind of
branches of the industry. Thanks to the available
material combination, series Miniflow also allow to
deal with agressive and corrosive liquids like acids
in the process industry.
In addition these meters show a very high resolution
in the range of about 3100 pulses/liter.
