6 IMPULSE SEALERS

The Magneta series consists of a com-plete range of manually operated
impulse sealers with different sizedmodels and options. This user friendlyand safe machine is ideal for packing
small and medium sized series. Themachine can work with pre-made bags
as well as with tubular foil. Whenworking with tubular foil, the machinecan produce various length bags byusing the integrated shielded cutting
device.The sealing cycle of the machine caneasily be started by pushing down theseal bar by hand or by using a footpedal. Once started the magnetic bars
remain closed throughout the sealing
and cooling cycle and then automati-cally open, ready to make the nextseal. The machine is suitable for seal-
ing polyethylene, polypropylene, PVCand thin laminates and the sealing andcooling times are adjustable. MAGNETA MGT - Twin seal MAGNETA MGS - Stainless steel The twin seal model of the Magneta is
equipped with two parallel sealing
bars. The cutting device will cut thefilm in between the two sealing bars.On all models except the 300 the
second seal bar can be switched offallowing the machine to be used as astandard Magneta. The MGS model of the Magneta is
made out of stainless steel for special
applications like the food industry orfor clinical environments. The MGS hasa stainless steel housing and acces-
sories. All the other characteristics areidentical to the standard model. Theoptions like the support table and the
support are also available in stainlesssteel. MAGNETA MGDS - Bi-active The bi-active model of the Magneta is
equipped with two sealing bars, one in
the arm and one in the machine. Thiscreates a more powerful seal than thestandard model and is capable of seal-
ing thick films up to 2x 0.25 mm. MAGNETA MGM - Motor The Magneta MGM is Audions latestdevelopment in the Magneta series,
which has conquered the marketsuccessfully. The Magneta MGM sealeris powered by an electrical motor and
equipped with an electrical footswitch. This special system enables you to close the sealing jaws with a
gentle push on the pedal and achievesconsistent and reliable seals. Almost all Magneta models can be supplied as MGM version and the Magnetaoptions also apply to the MGMmodels. MAGNETA MGI - Industrial seal The MGI model of the Magneta is
equipped with a 5 mm wide seal
instead of the standard 3 mm wideseal. On this model the sealing wire isfastened with tensioners to prevent
