The Duraswitch thiNcoder® rotor is an
ultra-thin, non-invasive encoder that
enables greater design customizaton.
The thiNcoder ® rotor is the only rotary
switch that can be mounted directly on
a ex circuit, providing easy integration
with other switches, thin-panel design
possibilities and inherent sealing
capability against contaminants.
This patented rotary switch can also be integrated into a traditional
at panel
keypad. The thiNcoder rotor’s extremely low pro
le results in a thinner, lighter

Circuit: Analog Potentiometer
Attributes: Used in applications that require continuous output.
Can be used with or without detent.
Example: Temperature contol
Circuit: Selector Switch
Attributes: Used in applications that require a single switch
closure at each detent position. Positions can range from 2-24 (16
position shown)
Example: Motor speed control
Circuit : Repeating 2-bit Gray code quadrature
Attributes: Used in applications requiring increment / decrement
encoding.
Example: Volume control
Circuit: Repeating 2-Bit Binary Code
Attributes: Used in those applcations that select 1 of 4 possible
outputs, which require a de ned binary output at each detent
